EduMIS-Mandate for All Schools to Disclose Information on School Website Under NEP

EduMIS aims in the digitalization of the schools located even in the remotest areas of the country and therefore, we believe that every school deserves a website, which acts as an effective tool for a school to improve communication and branding, engage parents, market its strengths and leadership, and build a solid, trusting reputation within its community.
In the light of the New National Education Policy 2020, the State Council for Education Research and Training (SCERT) is supposed to develop a School Quality Assessment and Accreditation Framework (SQAAF) for each State. SQAAF will set standards on certain parameters, which schools must fulfill/meet, in order to obtain regulatory approval to function as a school. All schools must self-accredit, by giving details on their meeting all the basic parameters, and the relevant supporting documents.
Schools have to further ensure Public availability of information relating to accreditation and its audit. All information regarding accreditation and audit, their rationale and the supportive documents must be made available publicly and freely.
In this context, the State School Regulatory Authority (SSRA) will develop and operate a public website where all this information will have to be uploaded and maintained by the schools. This website will be developed in all States by 2024.
In addition to the public website maintained by the SSRA, it is mandatory for the schools to disclose the same information in the same format: on their own school website as well and keep printed copies of such documents readily available at the school. Any failure on these disclosures or any misrepresentation will lead to penal action against the school.
EduMIS always strives to accommodate its existing and potential clients with a website that is in line with the new regulations and standards set by the School Education Boards. Keeping in view the NEP 2020, which in a way recommends a school to create a website so as to make it an effective depository of reliable information, we are targeting to design websites for more than 30,000 schools across the country by the year 2024.
