EsselWorld unveils FIRST Virtual Reality Coaster Ride TUNNEL TWISTER with VR Headgear
One of the largest & leading amusement parks in the country, EsselWorld has launched India’s First roller coaster ride with virtual reality on 5th April, 2018. The Virtual Reality (VR) Coaster Ride – Tunnel Twister was unveiled by Mr. Shirish Deshpande, CEO – Essel World & Water Kingdom and the well-known Bollywood actor Kartik Aryan who was recently starred in a Hindi movie - Sonu ki Titu Ki Sweety. EsselWorld has been always responsible for setting a benchmark in the amusement park industry in India.
The Tunnel Twister ride has been enhanced to blend the physical sensations with digital world. With VR Headgears, this ride takes you into a virtual world of roller coaster fun and is a family ride so adults and children can enjoy it together. The combination of virtual reality headgear and the roller coaster, transforms the thriller ride into a unique VR experience, thus incorporates ultimate family experience.
The Virtual Reality film of the ride is designed and developed by German based company Mack Ride, a leading European based Roller Coaster Brand. The amusing experiential film takes it’s riders through a tunnel journey with Fab 5 characters -Andy, Mimi, Riki, Mayur and Mithu with VR visuals that align perfectly with drops, twists and turns. The 2 minute roller coaster can accommodate 12 adults or 24 children at a time.
