LENNY & LARRY’S WELCOMES NEW TALENT TO TEAM OF SNACKING INDUSTRY INNOVATORS

Lenny & Larry's, the brand widely known for developing the original protein-enhanced cookie, is excited to announce the addition of several new members to its senior leadership team who are poised to continue the brand’s tremendous growth.

Spearheading these efforts is the newly-appointed Lenny & Larry’s CEO, Apu Mody, who joined Executive Vice President/CMO Aaron Croutch, Founder Barry Turner, and team in October of 2017. Mody is a food industry veteran boasting 25+ years of experience in working with leading consumer brands like Del Monte and Mars; beyond successfully launching two businesses of his own, Mody has served in roles ranging from Board Director, to President, to CEO. Mody is passionate about health and wellness and has been actively driving this through the brands and companies he leads, propelling them to unforeseeable levels of growth regardless of whether they are at the start-up level or an established Fortune 50 business. As a lifelong vegetarian and a loyal consumer of the Lenny & Larry’s brand himself, Mody was a natural fit to lead the Lenny & Larry’s team as they continue to widen their range of yummy and nutritious snacking options.

“I was keen to be part of a business focused on providing healthy, delicious food options. I also wanted to align with a company that had a strong set of values, a talented team, and an incredible branded platform for growth. When approached by the Lenny & Larry’s team, I was thrilled to join such a strong group with a mission that resonates: making plant-based protein—a vital nutrient our body needs—both fun and accessible,” says Mody. “Meeting Founder Barry Turner and the Croutch family who aided in the brand’s inception and continue to play a major role in the company’s future further reinforced a shared set of values and a shared vision for growing this brand. I look forward to the opportunity to lead this team on our journey forward.”

Beyond the appointment of a new CEO, Lenny & Larry’s welcomes the following members to its team:
● Ken Green took on his role as Executive Vice President of Sales in early January. With a proven track record of brand building via multi-outlet, natural, club, convenience, alternative and online channels, Green is excited to work alongside the fantastic team at Lenny & Larry’s. Ken has previously worked in sales leadership roles at thinkThin, Amy’s Kitchen, and Kraft USA and is excited to continue expanding the already impressive retail footprint of the Lenny & Larry’s brand.
● Matt Amigh, the brand’s newly-appointed CFO, brings 25+ years of finance experience with a focus on CPG brands. Amigh is excited to join a company on the forefront of leading food trends that promote healthy, active lifestyles. Matt previously served as CFO and COO for Raybern Foods, and prior to that worked with Mars, Del Monte Foods, and HJ Heinz.
● Bob Rhodes joins the team as Senior Vice President of Operations, bringing his expertise in building highly productive operations on a national and global level. With a keen eye for supply chain strategy, Rhodes will be supporting the Lenny & Larry’s brand as it continues to rapidly expand. Bob’s experience stems from his work leading operations for KIND, Campbell’s, and Godiva Chocolatiers.

What began as a mom and pop business has evolved into a brand with a significant global presence recruiting elite talent from the nation’s top consumer brands. With the addition of these new members to the Lenny & Larry’s executive team, the brand looks forward to propelling its mission of providing nutritious, plant protein-rich, vegan snacking options to its growing base of loyal consumers.
