Ann was born in Vietnam and moved to Canada in 2016, arriving with little more than the clothes on her back and a baby on the way. Starting anew, she juggled motherhood and education, enrolling in a brand management program when her daughter was just ten months old. To supplement her income, she trained in the field of eyelash extensions but struggled to find quality products at an affordable price. This challenge inspired the creation of her business, LLBA Professional, now Curacoro, which she grew from sourcing and testing lash products to a thriving company. Today, with 40 employees and a fully booked salon in Mississauga, Ann's beauty enterprise stands as a testament to her resilience and entrepreneurial spirit.
