m3 Networks, Scotland’s premier IT service provider, launches a managed cyber security spin-off
m3 Networks, a leading Managed Services Provider (MSP) is expanding its already comprehensive IT solutions to launch an advanced managed cyber security solution with extensive capabilities for the UK market.
m3 Networks knows that the cyber threat to its customers is constant, ever-evolving and potentially devastating. Whilst large breaches for well-known organisations make the headlines, the reality is that businesses of all sizes are finding themselves the target of cybercrime in the UK. The Independent reported back in April 2018 that ‘nearly 50% of businesses in the UK have fallen victim to cyberattacks or security breaches’ whilst Insurer Hiscox stated that “Cyber security incidents cost the average small business £25,700 last year in direct costs”. To manage these threats, m3 Networks have launched a customisable yet comprehensive cyber security service to fit the needs of businesses in the SME and Mid-Market tiers.
A lot of companies don’t have adequate cyber protection. Either their internal IT team or outsourced Managed IT Services Provider don’t have the skill set or do not have cyber security expertise. Typically, they will be providing the standard suite of services such as managed antivirus, regular patching and software updates which do go a long way, but not far enough to adequately protect businesses from the real and constant threat. m3 Networks is helping companies appraise their options by working with the existing team to offer the best protection.
Mark Lamb, Technical Director at m3 Networks stated; “Most companies are unaware of the frequency and cost of cyber-attacks to UK businesses, both financially as well as the irreparable brand and reputational damage. We’re launching our cyber security solution so that our clients have the peace of mind that they have sufficient security processes and controls, are compliant with GDPR and other compliance requirements so they can use their resources to focus on other critical business needs”.
m3 Networks have a longstanding history and proven record of providing IT support and services to businesses throughout the UK with more than 98% customer approval rating. It is one of the only Scottish companies to have a multiskilled Managed IT Services, Infrastructure, Cloud and Cyber Security trained team holding accreditations and qualifications such as ACE (Accredited Cyber Essentials), Digital Forensics and Ethical Hacking from some of the world’s leading universities teaching cyber security.
m3 Networks Limited is a specialist IT Support Company providing expert services to businesses across the UK and Scotland. Their skilled staff have extensive experience in providing IT support to businesses. The company’s ethos is quality over quantity, meaning that they aim for 100% customer satisfaction. Some of their services include IT Support, Network Cabling, IT Planning and Advice, Backup and Disaster Recovery, Computer Maintenance, Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Desktop Support and Hosted VoIP Telephony.
