New, accentuated lighting for awnings

LED Line lighting strip ensures cosy evenings on balconies and patios

An awning doesn’t just protect you from the sun. You can also spend plenty of pleasant hours under it in the evening as the awning cover retains the warmth of the day a little longer. Warm, accentuated lighting also helps the feel-good factor. And that is why markilux has equipped four awning models with special LED lighting.

Light has always been nourishing for people's well-being. It is a source of energy, keeps us healthy and allows us to be active longer. That is why, as far back as prehistoric times, mankind has always enjoyed spending the evenings well protected around an open fire. And that has not changed as we still love to end the day bathed in pleasantly lit surroundings.

The lighting can be dimmed
This is why awning expert markilux has equipped four of its models, the markilux 1300, 1600, 1700 and 1710, with an additional, so-called LED Line. It is integrated into the folding arms, which extend and retract the awning, and is directed downward. Depending on how intense the illuminating effect should be, the light can be dimmed manually or optionally via radio transmitter. To maximise the light output, the LED lighting strip is surrounded by a flexible pale white, transparent silicone profile. The band of light creates a pleasant ambience under the awning cover which serves to exude a sense of harmony. The accentuated lighting means candles are no longer necessary if you wish to spend a cosy evening on patio or balcony.
