Propre (real estate database) partners with risk information platform OPx to add real estate market data to site selection report
Since March 2020, OYO Corporation (OYO) (Headquarters: Chiyoda, Tokyo, President and CEO: Masaru Narita) and PASCO Corporation (PASCO) (Headquarters: Meguro, Tokyo, President: Hideki Shimamura PASCO) have been working to build OPx, a new risk information platform for a wide range of industries. Parallel to this initiative, OPx have been searching for partners to provide content and services for this platform. We are pleased to announce that Propre Pte. Ltd. (Propre) (Headquarters: Singapore, CEO: Hisaya Shirai) and OPx have agreed to enter a partnership.
Partnering with OPx will allow us to add Propre’s information related to real estate markets to the risk information service offered by OYO and PASCO. We will consider further applications of the risk information platform including services related to real estate and data provision.
【Addition of new content to OPx’s site selection report service】
The site selection report service is aimed at customers in a wide range of industries including but not limited to real estate, insurance, logistics, and retail. Our service provides risk assessment on factors such as natural disasters, ground, and soil contamination. It also includes on-demand strategic location analysis for factors such as population distribution, topography, commercial environment, transportation, social infrastructure and more. This service is a one stop shop tool that allows businesses to assess risk and create an informed business plan. As part of our market trends content, Propre will also provide information on changes in real estate distribution and apartment prices in the past 6 months. From market trends to business risks, users can find critical site selection information all in one place.
【Future collaboration】
1. Joint development of map data, a common index showing the relationship between real estate market prices and risk of natural disasters.
In the future, we plan to jointly develop a common index that can be used to avoid and assess natural disasters by showing the relationship between real estate market prices and risk of natural disasters. Additionally, we are looking into services that allow users to perform a regional analysis using Propre’s cleansed data and mapping tools. For example, imagine visualizing the location of wealthy households and convenient amenities such as daycares and hospitals with data provided by OYO and PASCO. This data visualization tool is perfect for your marketing needs.
2. Propre and OPx’s Partnership Development
Propre, OYO, and PASCO have plans to expand services tailored to the financial sector that utilizes OPx’s risk information platform to provide real estate information and to continue developing mutually beneficial OPx solutions that utilize Propre’s data. We are also looking into developing a risk information service that utilizes OPx data and know-how to support Propre’s insights on the Japanese real estate market; a service offered by Propre to various countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
