Proton Motor welcomes the name change of its UK parent company
Puchheim near Munich, January 2, 2020 – The German high-tech market leader for hydrogen fuel cells and electric hybrid systems with a zero-carbon footprint, “Proton Motor Fuel Cell GmbH” (www.proton-motor.de), from Puchheim enthusiastically welcomes the change of name of its parent company from “Proton Power Systems PLC” to “Proton Motor Power Systems PLC”. Proton Motor concludes a very successful 2019 in which the official commissioning of the new fuel cell stack robotic machine to start the series production took place. Besides this milestone in the more than 20 years of company history, significant new orders – such as that from the Italian Fincantieri shipbuilding group – for emission-free complete fuel cell solutions have been confirmed.
The UK-based holding Proton Motor Power Systems (www.protonpowersystems.com) with its CEO Dr. Faiz Nahab has been listed on the London Stock Exchange since October 2006 (code: PPS). The new name has been notified officially to the Stock Exchange, so the trading in the company`s shares could commence regularly after the name change. At the company`s shareholder meeting held mid of December 2019 the resolution to change the company`s name tabled to the shareholders was duly passed.
