Receiver Radio app now supports Siri shortcuts, CarPlay, HomePod
The popular radio app "Receiver" in the iOS version now supports Siri shortcuts, CarPlay and the HomePod. With Siri shortcuts it is possible to start any radio station by voice input. Each radio station can be assigned an individual command to play or stop a station via Siri.
With the new CarPlay support Receiver comes now finally also into the vehicle. This provides all users of the Receiver iPhone app with a smart, easy-to-use radio app on their CarPlay system.
HomePod owners can enjoy the support of the smart Apple Speaker: By voice command, the playback of any station can be started and stopped again.

"Receiver" is developed by appsolute GmbH and was launched in 2009 as one of the first radio apps for the iPhone. In the meantime, Receiver is successfully represented on numerous platforms: Receiver is available for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Android, fireTV. Favorites can be conveniently synchronized between the different platforms via Dropbox or iCloud - no additional registration is required. Receiver uses one of the industry leading radio database of the aggregator Airable. In addition to over 40,000 radio stations, more than 25,000 podcasts are available to the user. Additionally, own streams can be added. Receiver streams via Airplay and ChromeCast to external devices.
