Held smoothly and gaplessly into the upper frame, the robust fabric can even withstand force six winds on the Beaufort scale without making a flap. And should it start to rain, the water will drain off quickly through apertures in the cloth into the rain gutter beneath and via the side columns to the ground.

This striking solar and rain protection system offers even more features. Those who like their privacy, or who desire protection against the cold and drafts, can supplement the awning roof all round with vertical blinds. They can simply move these up and down at the touch of a button to generate their own private sphere. With an additional radiant heater under the awning roof, it is possible to heat up outdoor spaces to create an extremely pleasant atmosphere.

Narrow LED strip lighting or LED spotlights also provide lounge-like illumination in the evening. The many colourful awning fabrics woven by the manufacturer also guarantee an air of cosy charm. Customers can select their desired fabric from more than 250 trendy, fashionable or extravagant designs, right down to their very own favourite colour. The “markant” can be controlled using a radio-controlled motor with wireless, smart io technology, and can also be equipped for operation via automatic controls using sun and wind sensors. These take over the convenient, automatic extension and retraction of the awning. With its many useful functions, the new awning roof offers a weatherproof comfort zone measuring up to 36 m² for every conceivable form of outdoor living.
