Six villages around Friedeburg to get fiber optics
Friedeburg - The expansion of fiber optics in the district of Wittmund is picking up speed. epcan GmbH is actively driving forward the expansion of fiber optics in order to give the region's residents a future with ultra-fast and reliable Internet.
Following last year's successful fiber optic funding from the federal and state governments, in which numerous interested parties have already taken advantage of the opportunity for a fast fiber optic connection, epcan GmbH is now taking a further step and starting its own expansion with more than 600 addresses in Etzel, Wiesede, Reepsholt, Wiesedermeer, Marx and Horsten.
The demand bundling will start on February 26, 2024 and citizens will have the opportunity to benefit from attractive advantages until May 24, 2024, including €0 connection fees and monthly discounts. Unlike the subsidy, an end customer contract and a minimum participation of 40% are required.
In order to provide interested citizens with detailed information, epcan GmbH is organizing an online information event on 06.03.2024 at 7 pm. Participation is uncomplicated and possible without prior registration via Zoom or YouTube. You can find the access links on our website www.epcan.de/friedeburg. On-site Infopoint dates will be published on the website shortly.
