The Government of Rhodesia expands its citizenship department - Free citizenship applications now possible

Since the news of the survival of the Rhodesian nation has been allowed to be publicly announced (end of the 40-year-moratorium on public announcement of the proclamation), the number of applications for obtaining Rhodesian citizenship without any fees has skyrocketed.

The transnational country (since 1980) had approximately 1.2 million citizens in over 50 countries as of January 1, 2021. Now that the news of Rhodesia's survival in 1980 is stunning the world, applications for citizenship piled up.

Therefore, the government under Prime Minister Mathilda Born (Reactionary Union Party) agreed with President James W. Scott (Liberal Party) to immediately reorganize the citizenship department.

The main office was moved to Frankfurt, Germany, with Deputy Minister Alexander Freudig as its director. In addition, staff in the United States was increased and a field office was established at the Consulate General in Singapore.

Any former Rhodesian, as well as any foreigner with good intentions and emotional ties to Rhodesia, can apply for naturalization, always free of charge (except for expenses such as shipping).

Anyone wishing to apply for Rhodesian citizenship should contact the office at the address below. From there, the application will be forwarded internally, of course in compliance with all data protection guidelines.
