VERMES Microdispensing introduces its latest MDS 3050 series with unique features for low to medium viscous media dispensing
Holzkirchen, Germany, October 5th, 2021 — VERMES Microdispensing, a world leader in the design and manufacture of innovative microdispensing concepts and systems introduces its MDS 3050 system, the newest member of the MDS 3000 series for low to medium viscosity dispensing.
The modern high precision, piezo-based jetters of the MDS 3050 series dispense minimal amounts in nano and sub-nano ranges and are suitable for a wide range of demanding industries including microelectronics, biosciences, medical diagnostics, and pharmaceutics. Namely, medical cells and protein solution dispensing are among the top applications for this new system.
The valve is normally closed, which offers perfect conditions for dispensing fluids of lower viscosity.
The new technology provides a strong actuator and an exceptional locking force and therefore allows an application specific adjustability for the different media.
The system is capable of ultimately adjusting its force and closure function to the need of the medium and thus excellently fulfills tasks such as cell survival dispensing.
“Recent advancements in the field of tissue engineering have enabled the creation of 3D living organ analogues. Since the bio-printing technology is expected to be used more and more in regenerative medicine and drug research, there is a great demand for the MDS 3050 dispenser with its specific power density and volume-force ratio,” explains Juergen Staedtler, CEO and Managing Director of VERMES Microdispensing.
VERMES Microdispensing’s latest frame technology gives the system highest reliability and provides its valve frame with exceptional stability and resistance to frame expansion and break elongation, resulting in an excellent thermal compensation.
The valve’s slim design and multi staking possibility is an attractive solution for a varied scope of applications.
The MDV 3050 is equipped with a side adjust for fast configuration and with an interchangeable tappet. The user can select from the entire range of VERMES Microdispensing’s tappets and nozzle inserts to obtain the best fit for his application.
The solution is compatible with existing VERMES Microdispensing add-ons and heaters and is available with (MDS 3050-AC) and without air-cooling (MDS 3050).
A chip inside the valve provides additional monitoring functions to achieve a continually consistent dispensing result.
The VERMES Microdispensing MDS 3050 supports high-volume, automated fast and highly accurate production processes where minimal quantities of liquid must be process-safe and perfectly dispensed.
Industries that use UV adhesives, Cyanoacrylate, anaerobic adhesives, etc. will benefit from this solution.
With this system, VERMES Microdispensing is able to dispense all media contactless and with the highest precision up to a viscosity of 8,000 mPas.
